The unit measures temperature over the range of -39.9 to 149.9 \u00b0C with a 0.1 \u00b0C\/\u00b0F resolution and incorporates two push button switches, on\/off and hold.<\/p>\n<p>The Gourmet thermometer incorporates a stainless steel, food penetration probe (\u00d83.5 x 110mm) that conveniently folds back into the side of the instrument when not in use, rotating through 180 degrees, allowing the user to transport the instrument safely.<\/p>\n<p>The thermometer now has has an improved battery life\u00a0of up to 5000 hours, powering off automatically after\u00a0ten minutes. Available in six colours, the Gourmet is\u00a0ideal for different food types or preparation areas.<\/p>\n<p><strong>CalCheck function:<\/strong><br \/>\nThe Gourmet thermometer features a CalCheck 0.0 \u00b0C function\u00a0that allows the user to verify the accuracy of the\u00a0thermometer at any time, giving confidence that\u00a0measurements are accurate.
