Simply aim, then pull the trigger to display the temperature of the item being measured. The LCD display gives a digital read-out of temperature over the range of -60 to 500\u00b0C.<\/p>\n<p>This infra-red thermometer has a clear, easy to read, LCD display with low battery indication and\u00a0incorporates an auto power off facility that turns the instrument off after 60 seconds, maximising battery life.\u00a0The RayTemp 8 now features an eight dot circle laser indicator, which allows you to\u00a0precisely target the diameter of the area to be measured. As you move closer or further from the\u00a0target the laser circle changes diameter.<\/p>\n<p>The RayTemp<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> 8&#8217;s three-button keypad allows\u00a0the user to select \u00b0C\/\u00b0F and max\/min. Additionally, the difference between the maximum and minimum temperature and the average temperature can be displayed.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Two instruments in one<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The RayTemp<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> 8 infrared thermometer incorporates a miniature thermocouple type K probe socket <strong>(probe not supplied)<\/strong> that enables a wide range of type K thermocouple probes to be used for a variety of temperature measurement applications, including air, liquid and surface temperatures.<\/p>\n<p><strong>To add recommended probes and other accessories select your choices from the &#8216;Add Accessories&#8217; dropdowns, then click &#8216;Buy Now! button.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For details of more compatible type K thermocouple probes<\/p>\n<p><strong>available as a complete kit<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>The RayTemp<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> 8 together with a penetration probe is available as a kit.
